As we added support for the latest and greatest FLUX models (released summer 2024) to the Sven Image AI app, we saw many users quickly favored it over the ol'gud SDXL. But don't dispose of SDXL just yet.
Older SDXL can still be useful, occasionally.
If you've generated images with FLUX before, you'd probably be able to guess correctly—FLUX is on the left. However, is the image on the right bad? It is not. SDXL results are quite different from FLUX. Our point: sometimes you may want SDXL's aesthetics.
