"Refining" or, in other words, "Enhancing" an image.
To help you in creating high-quality masterpieces, we've introduced an additional secondary step to complement the base image generation. Refining adds extra details to your image by improving various small aspects such as the environment, shadows, lights, fingers, and more. We recommend using the base generation to create a good overall image and then refining it for additional details and quality.
Feature is available in version 4.5.1 and above - Update now
Here is how to create a masterpiece:
(spoiler alert: base generation -> refine -> save and remix)
- Step 1: use the base text generation to create an image with a shape and form that you like. At this stage, lighting, authentic style, and small details like fingers are not as important, as these will be addressed later. Generate an image with your prompt multiple times to find a scene that you like. You may save this image to your iPhone's Photo Library or post it to a room for easy remixing later.
- Step 2: refine the base image to update lights, add shadows, change or fix the style, improve small details like skin color, and add small details like sunglasses. To do this, you may modify the prompt text before re-enhancing the image. Save the enhanced image to either the Photo Library or post it to a room.
- Step 3: iterate on an image. Tap on a previously saved image and choose "Remix," or go directly to the Generation screen and import the previously saved image as a "Reference image." Leave the prompt as is, or update it with new or missing details that you want to add to your image. Repeat the process of base generation, refinement, and saving and remixing multiple times, gradually adding more and more details to your image.
